The origin of Rosa Marchetti rice is natural (not hybrid), it is not known exactly what his lineage is, it was introduced in 1972 by Domenico Marchetti who discovered it and dedicated it to his wife Rosa.
The medium-sized grain is vitreous even when whole. Excellent for risottos, its characteristics guarantee exceptional cooking resistance and binding ability with all the ingredients.
